When you feel strong and energized. Everything else in your life flows. Your body is your physical foundation! Below lets cover the next 9 self-care ideas!
11. Move your body (daily walks, stretch, or dance):
I can walk for ever, walking comes easy to me and perhaps you can relate. The gym on the other hand does not come to me as easily. What you must know is that walking for half an hour daily decreases your chances of heart disease and I think that with in itself rates walking as one of the top self-care ideas! The movement you choose doesn’t have to be intense. It’s more about shifting how you feel in your body.
12. Make Sure to Stay hydrated:
Drink more water! This will support your focus, mood, and energy! Try picking up some organic electrolytes or do your daily lemon water! Taking responsibility of your health is so important because health is one of those things that can disappear if you’re are not keeping an eye on it.
13. Prep nourishing meals:
Fueling your body is a form of self-respect. Do a Sunday meal prep for the week! If you’ve never done this before I recommend you focus on prepping a couple meals at first! Don’t burn out the first week you do this!
14. Prioritize 7–8 hours of sleep:
Rest is productive. Take more naps if you can. Perhaps this means you go to be at 10pm and not 11:30 every night! Your body and mind need it.
15. Practice Yoga, or Pilates:
Strength and mindfulness all in one practice. Try doing something like this one a week, to start! Start small. You want to grow to love it, not hate it!

Just check in with how you’re doing. Starting to see a naturopath was one of the more grounding things I focused on in 2024/2025! Caring for your future self is the ultimate self-love.
17. Take vitamins or supplements:
As or if recommended! Look into and ask about taking a high quality multivitamin, Magnesium, vitamin D & C! Support your body where it needs extra help. Things like being constipated or low energy have a huge impact on your wellbeing, confidence and ability to genuinely take care of yourselves!

A good massage can release the hidden body tension and stress you have.
19. Go to the Sauna:
One of my favorite but also hardest times, I use to go to the sauna at my gym 3-4 times a week. I would focus on closing my eyes and imagining my hardships burn in my imagination. It was so stress releasing. I would go to sleep relaxed and at peace. Still one of my favorite things to do! We are not in the process of putting a sauna in our backyard so the sauna can become a daily thing!
20. Practice your posture awareness:
