Life can be unexpected, sad, painful, stressful and that’s okay! Better things are right around the corner if you decide you want to change. Making a few simple changes through out the day can improve the amount of peace you have in your life. Here are a few ways on how to create peace in your life…
1. Find Gratitude
Take time to count your blessings. The more you find yourself focusing on what great, greater things come your way! How an individual sees the world also changes which direction the are looking in. What we focus on is also what we react to, so many times if see the best in the situation we will respond positively.
2. Practice Win/Win
Give a little first then take a little! One of the greatest concepts to truly understand is knowing what it means to give first and set an example by giving. If we want a specific individual to share more, perhaps focusing on how selfish they are isn’t the best idea. You can set an example by taking a leap of faith and sharing! After a while you will find people start reacting in your example!
In any argument you want to make sure you are understood and both you and the other person have something to celebrate – that’s at the core of win/win.

Have you ever thought that maybe forgiveness is more for yourself. The peace of mind you have as a result of being freed from anger or resentment. This is one of the best way on how to create peace in your life, simply teaching yourself to forgive!
4. Explore The Outdoors
One minute of nature decreases stress by 80%. Take time to learn to explore and love the outdoors. Peace happens in nature! When you’re by a spring or in the mountains or by the beach and you focus on nature it’s seamlessly peaceful! Nature is hands down at the top of the best ways on how to create peace in your life
5. Ignore All Thoughts That Are Not Supportive
Everyone has an internal dialogue… most of the things we tell ourselves are critical and not at all supportive towards our success!
Have an internal system you use to ignore those thoughts for some it may be meditation and clearing your mind, for others it may be a little prayer or some may choose to make those thoughts immediately irrelevant by saying just saying “Cancel, cancel, cancel.” to themselves!
6. Smile As Often As You Can
Have you ever smiled at strangers and them sometimes they smile back? Be that example! Motion creates emotion and smiling moves you in the direction of happiness and peace!
Kindness gives us purpose and in one way or another, we all have the purpose of kindness. Taking a part of something bigger than yourself might just bring you peace. It gives you less time to worry about everything and though service you might just find happiness and a solution to everything that’s going on!
