What are you grateful for?

Finding gratitude is the simplest antidote to negativity. We have all heard it, every one of us has from 12,000- 60,000 thought’s going through our minds every day and 80% of those thoughts are most likely negative. It’s important to take a few minutes out of your day to count your blessings. Go out and buy yourself a cute notebook and take 10 minutes out of your day to write what you love in it!

Here is a simple 4 step guide for your gratitude journal:

#1. Write down the current date and year.

#2. Write minimum 3 gratitude’s

#3. Send love to 3 people who are currently bugging you

#4.  From 1 – 10 rate your emotions. 1 = bad or feeling negative and 10 = ecstatically happy and feeling positive.

This is a simple habit to get into daily that will improve your happiness immensely, what is great about this process is that you always have a reference to look back on your life which will bring you to mindfulness when you choose what to write down.

Keep in mind, it may feel a little unnatural at first but soon enough after the first few weeks, you will become addicted to noting down your gratitude’s.

Always remember not to be too hard on yourself if you miss a few days.. that’s okay life can get hectic! Just as long as you get back to it you are in the clear!

How many times do you start something and it becomes a pain because of the habit that needs to be formed?

We want writing in a little journal to be fun and easy for you and it’s most important not to beat up on yourself if you are not consistent with it, just always remind yourself to sit down for a second and visit your journal.
